SEBC Students

Our Student Ministry, grades 7th - 12th, exists to equip and empower middle and high school students to become lifelong disciples of Christ. We don't simply want to make churchgoers — we want to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

At the heart of everything we do is a deep commitment to the Word of God, the call to share the Gospel, and the command to love our neighbors.

Through weekly gatherings, Bible teaching, discipleship opportunities, and intentional relationships, we strive to help students grow in their faith and boldly live it out. Whether you're new or have been with us a while, there's a place for you here to belong, grow, and make a difference.

  • Sermon on the Mount

Join us every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. as we gather to worship the Lord with excitement and dive intentionally into God's Word! Our current series walks through the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus teaches us what true, God-centered human flourishing looks like. Together, we are learning from Jesus Himself what it means to live a life that glorifies God and flourishes according to His design.

  • Fruit of the spirit

Every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m., our students gather in Small-ish Groups to study God's Word together. Our current series explores the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5, focusing each week on a different aspect of the Spirit's work in the life of a Christian. Through teaching and student- and volunteer-led discussions, we seek to understand God's Word and apply it to our everyday lives.

  • Midweek deep dive

Every fourth Wednesday, our students take a deeper dive into what we've been learning throughout our current midweek series. After three weeks of teaching, students gather in their Kingdom Wars teams for small group discussions centered on God's Word. These conversations provide an opportunity to reflect on what we've learned, grow in our understanding of Scripture, and consider how God's truth should shape our lives.

  • Kingdom wars

Kingdom Wars is our ongoing student ministry competition, where four teams compete throughout the year to earn points and ultimately claim the grand prize! Through games, challenges, and opportunities to invite friends, Kingdom Wars brings excitement and friendly competition to our student ministry. But our goal is much greater than winning: we want to glorify God, build unity among our students, and bring more people to Jesus!
